CIANJUR, Bewarapakidulan | Karang Taruna RW 13 Kelurahan Solokpandan, Kec./Kab. Cianjur, lakukan bersih-bersih lingkungan dan memungut sampah dari rumah-rumah warga sekitar, Sabtu (29/5/2021).

Pemungutan sampah dilakukan dengan menggunakan gerobak yang nantinya akan di buang ke Tempat Pembuangan Akhir (TPA).

Ketua Karang Taruna Oos (35) mengatakan, kegiatan tersebut berdasarkan inisiatif dirinya karena sangat prihatin dengan keadaan sampah yang belum terurus khususnya di keRWan 13.

“Meski tanpa ada koordinasi dengan pemerintah setempat terkait penanganan sampah di lingkungan RW 13, kami berinisiatif dengan rekan-rekan terkait banyaknya sampah yang berserakan di jalan gang dan di aliran sungai Gang Bungsu yang berada di tengah-tengah pemukiman warga,” katanya.

Menurutnya kegiatan tersebut tidak tidak ada pungutan yang bersifat mengikat kepada warga, namun warga hanya memberi bantuan dan biaya seikhlasnya.

“Selama pemungutan sampah yang dilakukan oleh Karang Taruna, kami sama sekali tidak membebankan biaya. hanya saja warga memberikan bantuan untuk biaya angkut seikhlasnya, dan itupun tidak kita minta,” katanya.

Lanjut Oos, kegiatan yang diprakarsai Karang Taruna tersebut kini sudah berjalan selama 6 bulan

“Alhamdulillah kegiatan tersebut sudah berjalan selama 6 bulan, mudah mudahan dengan adanya kegiatan ini bisa mempererat tali silaturahmi dalam kebersamaan antara karang taruna dengan kepengurusan RW 13,” imbuhnya.

Hal tersebut sangat di apresiasi Ketua RW 13 Kel. Solokpandan, Deny, bersama masyarakat dengan adanya kegiatan Karang Taruna dengan melakukan pemungutan Sampah di lingkungan setempat.

“Kami sang mengapresiasi kegiatan para Pemuda Karang Taruna yang telah melakukan pemungutan Sampah di Wilayah keRwan 13 ini. Dan kegiatan ini sangat terarah sesuai dengan program pemerintah terkait masalah lingkungan,” pungkasnya. (Kontributor)
