CIANJUR, Bewara Pakidulan | Pedangang buah jambu Jamaika yang berada di Jalan Raya Cugenang, Cianjur, mengeluhkan pendapatannya selama pandemi Covid-19.

Selain pembeli berkurang, secara otomatis para pedagang harus menyiapkan modal dua kali lipat lantaran penjualan turun drastis.

Hal tersebut dikatakan Herman (40) salah seorang pedagang jambu Jamaika, dirinya mengaku berjualan jambu jenis jambu Jamaika sudah hampir 15 tahun untuk menafkahi keluarga.

“Saya sudah 15 tahun berjualan jambu, untuk menafkahi keluarga dan menyekolahkan kedua anak saya yang masih duduk di bangku sekolah,” aku Herman.

Sebelum berjualan jambu, Herman merupakan seorang tukang ojek pangkalan untuk menghidupi keluarganya. Namun, karena kebutuhan mendesak dirinya mencoba berjualan Jambu.

“Untuk mencari jambu, saya harus keliling kampung menanyakan dimana pemilik pohon jambu,” kata Herman.

“Saya dapat jambu di Rajamandala, Ciranjang, Cikalong, Cibeber dan Warungkondang, dibeli dengan cara di borong perpohon. Mengenai harganya bisa mencapai Rp 200 sampai Rp 500 ribu, tergantung banyak dan tidaknya buah,” Herman menambahkan.

Herman menjelaskan, jambu Jamaika ini, selain rasanya enak, panen Jambu Jamaika hanya tiga kali dalam setahun. Makanya jika bulan ini panen, mereka harus menunggu empat bulan kemudian baru bisa di panen kembali.

“Jambu Jamaika ini bisa panen tiga kali dalam setahun. Sebelum pandemi, harganya mencapai Rp 20 sampai Rp 25 ribu perkilogramnya. Kondisi saat ini berbanding terbalik kalaupun ada yang beli hanya untuk menutup modal saja,” keluhnya.

Merasakan kondisi seperti sekarang ini, Herman berharap pandemi segera berakhir. Karena, sangat berpengaruh pada pengusaha kecil.

“Saya berharap kondisi seperti ini cepat berlalu dan jualan kami bisa lancar seperti dulu,” harapnya. (Red)
