Cianjur, Bewara Pakidulan | Jalan Aria Cikondang yang terletak di pusat Kota ini sudah tidak asing lagi bagi warga Cianjur. Jalan ini melewati bekas terminal Joglo, Lembaga Pemasyarakatan dan tembus ke jalan Siliwangi.

Mungkin banyak warga Cianjur yang kurang begitu mengenal siapakah sosok Raden Aria Cikondang yang dijadikan nama jalan tersebut.

Dalem Aria Cikondang merupakan gelar untuk Raden Aria Wiradimanggala, putra ketiga dari Bupati Cianjur pertama, Raden Aria Wiratanu I (1677-1691).

Beliau merupakan adik dari Raden Aria Wiratanu II yang merupakan Bupati Cianjur ke 2 dan juga adik dari Raden Aria Natadimanggala bergelar Dalem Aria Kidul yang makamnya ada di kawasan Gunung Jati Jebrod.

Dikisahkan bahwa Dalem Aria Cikondang merupakan Panglima Perang Nagri Cianjur di mana Cianjur pada masa itu merupakan sebuah daerah yang merdeka dan mempunyai kekuasaan sendiri.

Hal itu bisa terjadi setelah buraknya Kerajaan Padjadjaran akibat serangan Banten dan lemahnya pamor Kerajaan Sumedang Larang yang dianggap sebagai pewaris dan penerus sah tahta Kerajaan Padjadjaran.

Bahkan dikabarkan Haji Prawatasari salah satu Pahlawan Tatar Sunda yang memberontak terhadap kekejaman penjajah VOC Belanda dan namanya diabadikan sebagai nama sebuah lapangan di kawasan Joglo merupakan saudara sekaligus murid kesayangan dari Dalem Aria Cikondang.

Disebutkan bahwa Haji Prawatasari memperoleh ilmu kanuragan dan juga ilmu strategi perang warisan Padjadjaran dari Dalem Aria Cikondang yang digunakannya untuk melakukan perlawanan dan pemberontakan terhadap VOC di Tatar Parahyangan.

Setelah kematian Raden Aria Cikondang, Haji Prawatasari atau Raden Alit ini memimpin 3000 orang pasukan dan mulai melakukan pemberontakan dan perlawanan hebat terhadap kekuasaan VOC yang dinilai kejam dan semena- mena, yang dimulai dari Cianjur dan akhirnya menyebar ke seluruh Tatar Sunda.

Pemberontakan ini berhasil membuat VOC Belanda kalang kabut dan goyah, sampai akhirnya Haji Prawatasari berhasil ditangkap dan dihukum mati. (Historia : Menak Pemberontak Dari Jampang Manggung)

Kembali lagi ke Raden Aria Cikondang, menurut berbagai sumber sejarah dan berita, Raden Aria Cikondang memiliki kehebatan dalam ilmu beladiri maenpo dan ilmu kanuragan yang membuat dirinya kebal berbagai macam senjata tajam serta menguasai berbagai macam strategi perang warisan Padjadjaran yang membuat dirinya memang layak menjadi Panglima Perang Nagri Cianjur.

Akan tetapi jalan hidupnya berakhir dengan tragis. Dalem Aria Cikondang pun harus mengalami kematian yang tragis dengan cara dihukum mati dengan diikat oleh beberapa ekor kuda yang berlari ke berbagai arah, sehingga tubuhnya pun terbelah menjadi beberapa bagian.

Sebagai Panglima Perang Nagri Cianjur, Dalem Aria Cikondang lebih memilih binasa dan perlaya di medan laga, lebih memilih ancur lebur jeng tumpur daripada menyaksikan Cianjur menjadi daerah bawahan atau taklukan.

Hal itu terjadi karena dia menolak Cianjur tunduk kepada Mataram dan VOC yang menginginkan Cianjur menjadi daerah taklukannya pada saat itu. (InfoCianjur: Siapa Aria Cikondang?)

Saat ini, Makam Dalem Aria Cikondang atau Raden Aria Wiradimanggala terletak di Kampung Songgom RT 4/2, Desa Cikondang, Kecamatan Cibeber Kabupaten Cianjur.

Namun kondisi makam Dalem Aria Cikondang yang merupakan simbol Kepahlawanan dan Keberanian dan juga salah satu leluhur masyarakat Cianjur ini, kondisinya sangat kumuh dan tidak terurus.

Menurut informasi dari masyarakat di sekitar makam, bangunan makam yang ada sekarang ini pun merupakan hasil sumbangan dari peziarah asal luar kota Cianjur yang merasa prihatin atas kondisi makam.

Ketika dihubungi awak media, Bah Ade yang merupakan Kuncen sekaligus juga turunan langsung dari Dalem Aria Cikondang pun memberikan penjelasan.

“Sebenarnya sejak tahun lalu sudah ada upaya untuk melakukan pemugaran dan perbaikan area makam tersebut oleh salah satu keturunan Eyang Dalem Aria Cikondang yaitu Neng Ratu, tapi akibat kurangnya dukungan dari aparat pemerintahan, akhirnya terkatung-katung sampai sekarang,” ujarnya dengan mata berkaca-kaca, Jumat (11/6/2021).

“Abah jadi Kuncen Makam Eyang Dalem Aria Cikondang pun ditunjuk langsung oleh Neng Ratu. Soal perbaikan dan pemugaran makam, sebenarnya Neng Ratu sudah titip pesan bahwa orang lain kalau tidak mau bantu tidak masalah, asal jangan menghalangi,” ungkap Bah Ade.

Bah Ade berharap untuk kedepannya proses pemugaran dan perbaikan area makam bisa segera terlaksana tanpa hambatan.

Bung Karno sang Proklamator pernah berujar “Jas Merah”, Jangan Sekali-Sekali Meninggalkan Sejarah, sebab bangsa yang besar adalah bangsa yang menghargai jasa para pahlawan dan pendirinya.

Sungguh menyedihkan, Makam Raden Aria Cikondang yang merupakan simbol Kepahlawan dan juga Keberanian Leluhur Cianjur dalam mempertahankan Kedaulatan, Martabat dan Harga Diri Nagri dan Rahayat Cianjur walaupun harus ditebus dengan nyawanya waktu itu, dalam kondisi yang kumuh dan tidak terurus akibat tidak adanya kepedulian aparat pemerintahan di Kabupaten Cianjur.
